Welcome to my Cobblestone Fundraising Page!

Thanks for stopping by A Slice of New York's Cobblestone Fundraising Page. The World Trade Center Memorial scheduled to open in 2009, can only be built with the support of people like you and me. Together we can honor those whose lives were lost and build a better future. We all lost something that September morning, it's time to think back, and to give back. Let's become part of history at Ground Zero. Donate today.

Donations of $500 or more will buy a cobblestone to be permanently placed on the Memorial Plaza. Once we reach our goal, we'll get a number to indicate the placement of our cobblestones. When the Memorial opens, we will be able to locate our cobblestone on the Plaza by searching a directory.

Our goal of five cobblestone can only be reached with your support and commitment. Spread the word and get invovled!

Think Back. Move Forward. It's Time.

Help us pave the way to healing, remembrance and hope.

The World Trade Center Memorial, Reflecting Absence, consisting of two massive voids with waterfalls cascading down their sides will serve as a powerful reminder of the Twin Towers and of the unprecedented loss of life from the attack on our soil.

A landscaped Memorial Plaza filled with oak trees will create a contemplative space separate from the sights and sounds of the surrounding city.

Entering through a Visitor Orientation and Education Center, visitors will begin their Memorial Museum experience. The Museum will retell the events of the day, and celebrate the lives of those who died. By displaying powerful artifacts from Ground Zero alongside more intimate objects and personal effects, the Museum will convey the enormity of the loss and the triumph of human spirit that are the heart of 9/11.

The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation is the not-for-profit corporation dedicating to building, programming and operating the Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center site.
