| here: remembering 9/11 is the first public exhibition of the World Trade Center Memorial Museum. The exhibition, which runs from August 24, 2006 through October, 2006, is located outdoors on the fence adjacent to the WTC PATH Station at Ground Zero. It is comprised of 42 images from the archive of here is new york: a democracy of photographs, and 10 images of World Trade Center artifacts in the care of The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
The here is new york images are only a small fraction of the material collected by the project, which began in a small Soho storefront in late September 2001. (All of the more than 6000 images are available for viewing on the project website, http://www.hereisnewyork.org/ .
